Our Exchange Policy

If for some reason you find that the plan you have purchased from us does not meet your needs, then you may exchange that plan for any other plan in our collection. We allow you 60 days from your original invoice date to make an exchange. Just return the blueprints to us. You will be charged a processing fee of 20 percent of the total amount of your original order and the difference in price between the plans (if applicable) plus shipping and handling. Please note: Reproducible vellums can only be exchanged if they are unopened. If you have any further questions, please call 1-204-667-9108, or 1-800-311-4844 (in Canada).

About Reverse Blueprints

If you want to build in reverse of the plan as shown, we charge an additional up-charge of $150.00 to make the changes.

Architectural and Engineering Seals

Some cities, provinces and states are now requiring that a licensed architect or engineer review and "seal" a blueprint, or officially approve it, prior to construction. This may be required (check with you local building authority, prior to applying for your building permit).

Local Building Codes and Zoning Requirements

All plans are drawn to conform to National and Manitoba Building Codes. Your plan may need to be modified to comply with local requirements and climate. Also, the foundation plan may require modifications to suit local codes and conditions. Local authorities may require extra detailing (e.g.. Joist layout, electrical, etc.).Consult your local building officials.
